Alex Chinneck decided it was time to give a disused house a facelift. In the Cliftonville district of Margate, the artist peeled off the front of the house and made a façade that looks like it has succumbed to gravity. It’s a beautiful and technically very challenging work of art. The falling façade reveals the true decay of the house (and the neighborhood?).

Galerie Perrotin in New York:
